Edition of 25 | 40″ x 60″ | Giclee
We lived out in the country for 10 years and every time that we had to drive into town in the late afternoon, we had this view of the sun setting over Mount Evans. I always had the thought in the back of my mind to do a painting of it someday. I purposely did not want the entire sky full of crimson clouds. It is more common to see this, just a ribbon of clouds along the base of the sky and how they light-up for a few moments, then minutes later all the color is gone and it is getting dark. Show is over.
