Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
On a painting trip last summer with my youngest son Luke, we got up at 5:30am to take a drive through Yellowstone National Park at sunrise. We woke up to a thick fog that gave the drive a erie mood. This painting is alone the Yellowstone River, and although we did not see a black bear and cub, we did see large bison in a similar position. The title, “Morning Wonder” was chosen to represent the bears waking up to the fog just as we did and finding it as fascinating as we did.
