Grazing in the Gallatins
20″ x 40″ | Oil on canvas | Private Collection
Gallatin Range, Montana
Montana has always been a special place for me. I first visited the state when, at age 13, I saved for a year to afford the $130 plane ticket to visit my buddy who had moved to Kalispell. I have visited Montana regularly since. Grazing in the Gallatins represents the way horses often graze in the most beautiful places oblivious to the aesthetics of their surroundings.
